I’ve admired Bill Telepan for several years, since I found out about his involvement with Wellness in the Schools. I met him briefly the first time we volunteered at a Wellness fundraiser. He was standing outside chatting on the phone, pausing to greet the chefs who came to help out. He was cheerful and energetic. He was also—he told me with a laugh—getting knee surgery the next morning.
